Examination

 Right from the confirmation of the autonomy this institution has adopted periodical and concurrent evaluation, internal assessment and Term End Examinations for evaluating the students.

            As per our examinations regulations 100% of the papers in the Semester Examinations are evaluated by external examiners. In internal assessment examinations the system of internal evaluation has been adopted. The results of the students are finalised taking into account their performance both in periodical and concurrent examinations.

            Though we don’t have the system of revaluation, the system of rechecking of the answer scripts has been adopted to maintain transparency in the entire process.

            The Board of Studies of each subject as statutory Expert Bodies recommends the names of paper setters and examiners (six names per paper) out of which one person is confidentially selected for the purpose. The Moderation Board is constituted as per the recommendation of the Board of Studies. The Board of Conducting Examiners is constituted from time to time with senior paper setters and examiners as members. The Board of Studies is constituted strictly as per the UGC guidelines for autonomous colleges.

                        Unless and until there is some exigency, the examinations are held on the scheduled dates and the results are published within 45 days from the last date of each examination.
